Spring Harvesting & Frozen Pizza

Spring is here! The kiddos and I are enjoying the weather, minus the dip in temperatures this past week. Included are some pictures of harvesting some lettuce from our garden. We enjoyed a nice garden salad, fresh from our backyard! Full disclosure, we did have a frozen pizza for dinner as well. So much happening with the three kiddos, end of the school year activities, and just overall enjoying family time, frozen pizza was a necessary on the menu! It's all about balance - not just what you eat, but of getting out an enjoying the people who matter the most. Feed the soul!

Strawberries - personal removed.jpg

Our strawberry patch is in the third year, and these are the largest berries we have seen! We did have to scour through the unripe berries, and the half eaten ones - from the squirrels AND our youngest. She loves picking everything, yet just doesn't quite understand that they need to be red to pick. Hopefully, there will be some left to get a chance to reach their full potential!
